Funding
Working with our partners we are mandated to assist Clients with :-

Equity Investors - normal
•     Minimum US$ 250,000.
•     International Investors who will become Shareholders in the business.
•     Required is a Pitch Deck showing the Funding needed, what the money will be spent upon, the business model, Profitability & ROI, the Directors and their Experience.  Where relevant Maps are always useful.


Equity Investors - small
•     Minimum US$ 50,000 - US$ 500,000.
•     International Investors who will become Shareholders in the business.
•     Required is a Pitch Deck showing the Funding needed, what the money will be spent upon, the business model, Profitability & ROI, the Directors and their Experience.  Where relevant Maps are always useful.


Loan Funding - large
⦁    Motivated by a comprehensive Bankable Business Plan (BBP).
⦁    US$ 10 million to US$ 500 million. 

Loan Funding - small
⦁    From US$ 1.5 million to US$ 100 million. 
⦁    The funders is an Islamic Bank in the Far East so businesses must be compatible with Sharia Law .

⦁    Motivated by a comprehensive Business Plan.

      Smaller amounts don't need the level of detail of a BBP, but all the areas should be covered.

Trade Finance - Letters of Credit (LC & SBLC)
⦁    90 - 360 day period.
⦁    Attractive rates from 4%.
⦁    Up to US$ 150 million. 
⦁    Ideally for established Importers.
⦁    Not suitable for Brokers.


Issuing of Financial Instruments – MTN’s & SBLC’s
⦁    These are tradeable instruments.
⦁    Issued by top banks, e.g. HSBC
⦁    Attractive rates.
⦁    SBLC = Min US$ 100 million.
⦁    MTN = Min US$ 500 million.

Trading of Financial Instruments – MTN’s & SBLC’s
⦁    Client must be the Owner of the instrument.
⦁    Good LTV's and high returns.
⦁    Various trading options available after KYC and Due Diligence.

Monetising Safe Keeping Receipts (SKR)
⦁    Only certain assets, e.g. gold held in an acceptable depository.
⦁    Min US$ 10 million.
⦁    The profits from trading are shared with Client.
⦁    Client must be the Owner of the SKR.
⦁    Funds must be used for approved projects.


Monetising Sovereign Guarantees (SG)
⦁    Either already issued, or still to be issued.
⦁    The profits from trading are shared with Client.
⦁    Client must be the Owner of the SG.
⦁    Funds must be used for approved projects.


South Africa Only
Small Loans - unsecured
⦁    R 100k - R 500,000
      requirement = more than 1 year trading & over R 1m Turnover pa
      =  6 - 12 month Loan
⦁    R 500k - R 5 million
      requirement = more than 3 years trading & over R 10m Turnover pa
      =  12, 18 or 24 month Loan
⦁    3-month Bridging Loan
      similar criteria to above   
  


Purchase Order Funding (PO)
⦁    Only goods, not services.
⦁    Client typically SMME, can be a start-up (no financial history required).
⦁    PO must be payable in South Africa.
⦁    Supplier can be International.
⦁    If Client has turnover of less than R 1 million, then min PO size = R 250,000 of goods to be funded.
⦁    Some contracts / tenders / equipment & vehicles can also be funded.

⦁    We prefer to visit the Client’s premises, but initial discussions can be virtual.
⦁    Our feedback report highlights ‘Quick Wins’, as well strengths and weaknesses.

Turnaround / Restructuring
⦁    Effectively an extreme case of implementing an IBR.
⦁    We have practical experience having worked in Corporates, as well as run our own businesses (with our own money).

⦁    One of our areas of speciality is helping Clients to reduce Stock Holding and improve Warehouse efficiencies.

⦁    If the documentation is effective, legal recourse will be the last option after the commercial terms are exhausted.
