Loan Funding
⦁ Unsecured Loan Funding for viable commercial opportunities.
⦁ Motivated by a comprehensive Bankable Business Plan (BBP).
⦁ US$ 10 million to US$ 500 million.
Equity Investors
• International Investors who will become Shareholders in the business.
• Minimum US$ 250,000.
• Prospectus showing % shares being offered, current valuation of the company, plus a short business plan explaining how the money will be spent.
Monetising In-Ground Assets
⦁ This requires a 43-101 valuation report.
⦁ The profits from trading are shared with Client.
⦁ Client must be the Owner of the 43-101.
⦁ Funds must be used for projects related to the mine.
Monetising Power Purchase Agreements (PPA)
⦁ The PPA must be signed with a ‘blue chip’ company or municipality.
⦁ The profits from trading are shared with Client.
⦁ Client must be the Owner of the PPA.
⦁ Funds must be used for the PPA.
Monetising Sovereign Guarantees (SG)
⦁ Either already issued, to be created.
⦁ The profits from trading are shared with Client.
⦁ Client must be the Owner of the SG.
⦁ Funds must be used for approved projects.
Monetising Property / Fixed Assets
⦁ A sizeable portfolio of a ‘blue chip’ company or municipality.
⦁ The profits from trading are shared with Client.
⦁ Client must be the Owner of the properties / fixed assets.
⦁ Funds must be used for approved projects.
Monetising Safe Keeping Receipts (SKR)
⦁ Only certain assets, e.g. gold, held in acceptable depository.
⦁ Min US$ 10 million.
⦁ The profits from trading are shared with Client.
⦁ Client must be the Owner of the SKR.
⦁ Funds must be used for approved projects.
Issuing of Financial Instruments – MTN’s & SLBC’s
⦁ These are tradeable instruments.
⦁ Typically held by large financial institutions as part of their portfolio of assets.
⦁ Attractive rates.
⦁ Min US$ 100 million.
Trading of Financial Instruments – MTN’s & SLBC’s
⦁ Client must be the Owner of the instrument.
⦁ High returns.
South Africa Only
Purchase Order Funding (PO)
⦁ Only goods, not services.
⦁ Client typically SMME, can be a start-up (no financial history required).
⦁ PO must be payable in South Africa.
⦁ Supplier can be outside South Africa.
⦁ If Client has turnover of less than R 1 million, then min PO size = R 250,000 of goods to be funded.
⦁ Some contracts / tenders can be funded also.
Trackable Asset Funding
⦁ Any asset with a Serial Number.
⦁ Client must have 3 years of sound Audited Financial Statements.
⦁ Assets must be owned in South Africa, but can be used cross-border.
